Overview
This project is currently ongoing
The PAS 110 standard requires operators to produce digestate that is below stated benchmark thresholds for physical contaminants. These thresholds are likely to be reduced in the near future and operators will need to find ways to continue to achieve compliance with the standard. The reduced thresholds for physical contaminants could be achieved by implementation of more efficient screening techniques. This project aims to find out whether implementing a screening process with a finer mesh has other impacts on the quality of the final products.
