Hub benefits

Research-based evidence is essential for continuous development. Without research & development (R&D) work, the development progress of the composting and anaerobic digestion industries may stall, or even reverse.

REAL perceive the key benefits of the Research Hub to be as follows:

  • A mechanism to generate new, accessible research for the composting and anaerobic digestion industries
  • Providing operators/industry with the opportunity to tackle real-life issues faced, through the submission of a research proposal
  • A tool to excel industry forwards, and maintain and build on industry reputation

REAL perceive the key benefits of the Research Hub to CCS/BCS operators to be as follows:

  • The ability to influence the work of the Hub by submitting a research proposal
  • The opportunity to score and comment on proposals submitted to the Hub before they are shortlisted, through participation in an annual survey via SurveyMonkey
  • Operators are automatically granted access to the online digital Research Library, created as part of the first project of the Research Hub
