In 2021, the Research Panel selected a project entitled Plant Response Test Failures: Investigation of contaminants and phytotoxins in ‘End of Waste’ composting feedstocks and finished composts. The original project scope was later revised.
In 2023, the revised project was given a new title: Plant Response Test Interpretation and Comparison: Investigating performance of the UK Tomato Plant Response Test and German Spring Barley Test on CCS Compost.
The Research Hub is currently accepting tenders for a Project Coordinator to liaise with appointed laboratories to manage the delivery, collection, and organisation of Spring Barley test data for this project. More details can be found here.
