2023 Call for Proposals - Deadline Extended

The REAL Research Hub has extended the deadline to submit Research Propoasals to Friday, 31st March 2023.

 

This Call for Proposals is open to all—we encourage anyone with a research idea on organics recycling to submit a proposal. Proposals submitted by Friday, 31st March 2023 will be evaluated for funding later this year.

 

Funded projects may go on to inform decision-making about the Schemes (CCS and BCS) and Standards, and support market confidence and development within the compost and AD industries. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the landscape of organics research in the UK.

 

How to Submit a Proposal:

• Summarise your research idea using the Research Proposal Submission Form (here).
• Email the completed form to the Research Hub (megan@realschemes.org.uk)
• Extended Deadline: Friday, 31st March 2023. 

 

Support Available: 

If you wish to submit a proposal but are unsure where to begin, the Hub has resources to help support you when preparing your proposal.

• Examples of projects previously commissioned by the Research Hub, all initially submitted as proposals, can be found on our website. You may also find it helpful to refer to the Research Hub's objectives (here).
• The Hub’s Organics Recycling Research Library contains a summary of 'Research Gaps' across the AD and Composting sectors as well as hundreds of research articles, strategy documents, and market reports to inform and inspire new research ideas.
