The Research Hub's annual Call for Proposals is now open! Anyone with an interest in organics recycling – that’s food waste, green waste, compost, anaerobic digestion, materials to land – can submit a research idea.
All proposals will be evaluated for funding later this year. Selected projects will undergo an open tender process to appoint a contractor. That means you don’t have to do the research, you just have to have an idea for a project that would help the development of organics recycling within the circular economy or help change organic waste management into the social asset it can really be.

Provide a summary of your research idea using the Research Proposal Form (here).
Email the completed form to grace@realschemes.org.uk

If you’d like some support, we are happy to provide the following:
Research Ideas Workshop: Wednesday 18th March, TBC (email grace@realschemes.org.uk for the link) – In this guided session, we will discuss your research ideas, provide guidance on how to write up your idea into a proposal, and answer any questions about the proposal process.
Organics Recycling Research Library – On our virtual Research Library (here), you will find a summary of ‘Research Gaps’ (i.e., under-researched areas related to AD/composting) as well as hundreds of research articles, strategy documents, and market reports to inspire new research ideas.
